Weekend full of fun for everybody!

Jayson is teaching Aiden his Trampoline tricks at an early
age.....
I don't know who was laughing harder Jayson or Aiden!
I had to remind Jayson that Aiden could just fly off...
Aiden was just laughing so hard he was having so much fun!
These two are best buds when it comes to having a great weekend!
Aiden is Jayson's little shadow and wants to be just like him.
Jayson is so good to Aiden and is such an amazing big brother!
Aiden loves him so much, he is having a harder and harder time the older
he gets the harder it is to try and explain that Jayson had to go to his mommy's house....
He laid on Jayson's bed tonight and watched nemo while he talked to Jayson's
picture that I have hung on the wall.

Aiden trying to wake up daddy.....

Aiden loves it when daddy is home.....
And he loves that daddy will snuggle and watch cartoons or read
books to him.....

He loves giving daddy kisses, and hugs....

....MOST OF ALL AIDEN LOVES IT WHEN DADDY IS
HOME AND AWAKE!
It was so sweet Aiden tried for about 20 minutes to wake up
daddy. But, daddy just wasn't waking up. He pinched his cheeks,
he stepped on him, he kissed him, he yelled at him and
daddy just was NOT going to wake up. So I decided to grab the
camera and let Aiden try for a while longer. Keith finally woke up
when I shook him. He was sleeping because he had just worked a killer
shift and he had a bad case of allergies all of a sudden. It was just such a
priceless memory that I thought I would add onto our blog.

First time watching 101 DALMATIONS!

You have to understand that Aiden has two doggy friends
that both have the "rio" sound in it: Oreo (Blaine's) & Rio (Allen's)
If he doesn't know how to pronounce the name of the animal
he calls it "wio, wio" it is so cute. I thought he'd probably like this
movie but, didn't think he'd become obsessed! He loves it so much!
Grandma was enjoyin' those snuggles. Mom he loves you so much
and is such a lucky kid to have a few of his grandparents living so close.

I am sure Grandma Alice appreciate's Aiden showing Ashton all
the tricks in the kitchen.....
And that would be Aiden's "ROOOAAARRR"
That is one way he teases it is so cute!

He was hiding and I think Ashton was suppose to search
Gotta work on that one some more but these
two had so much fun playing at Grandma's while daddy
painted the basement....oh what a day that was

Monday March 15 I think....spring break for daddy

I must say he is a NATURAL JENSEN quite the rock hound just
like his daddy....as you can see so many to choose from in the background

First True Surgery......

After watching all of these over and over and over again
we turned to books for entertainment
after Aiden got his 3rd set of tubes in and his Adnoids removed
He is so happy even within the first few hours he was showing
signs of such an amazing imporvement in his health.
Aiden this is your favorite book right now and we read it so much
mommy has it memorized! I loved it when I was a little girl
and I still do!

Aiden you had ear tubes in March of 2010 and in December of 2010
both of which were not helpful and didn't releive the reaccuring
ear infections that made you act and feel miserable.
Mommy called a specialist in early February and wanted an end to all of this
(not knowing at the time that Garlic Drops are magic to toddler's ears)
Dr. Pearson was very impressed that mommy told him before he looked at your
ears that you should probably have your adnoids out and new tubes inserted
if it would help and not hurt you more.
You had your surgery on March 3rd 2011 @ 6:45 AM by Dr. Pearson in Cedar City utah.
He was very nice. We talked to lots of nice nurses and one you really
liked was the one who took you back to surgery. You were only away from me for
30 minutes and you did great. While you were in surgery daddy got off work and
came to the hospital. You woke up as normal as expected but, this time you had an
IV in your arm and you DID NOT LIKE THAT ONE BIT! You yanked it out of your hand.
Poor poor little hand. Daddy snuggled you and we drove home. You ate a lot of pop-cicle's and ate ice cream you drank a lot of Apple Juice and Sprite.
Then at about 5pm you said "mom, HOT DOG"
I asked "you want a hot dog?" I wasn't sure but, I called daddy and we thought
if you hurt you wouldn't eat it so you ate NOT 1 but 2 HOT DOGS on the same day as your surgery.......nothing bad happened like when mommy got her tonssils out so I didn't worry.
You and I stayed in the house for about 7 days and then we ventured outside on a warm sunny day. Little did I know the sun is very deceiving. You had a fever that night so back into the bubble I put you.....no more outside for a while. We have a check up on the 25th and we'll see what the doctor says about it all. You act and seem pretty healthy and you are back to your happy self again. It makes me so happy! I love You!

Here you are eating a hot dog.....very happy in your own little world on lots of meds.....

Doing what boys do best!

Just Journaling.....

Jayson:
You are an amazing big brother. You are so smart, especially when it comes to cars, engines and make and model's I don't argue, I just say "ok". Aiden loves you so much. He cries as you get out of the car and asks where you are as you are spending time at your mother's. You have so many talents. Right now your favorite thing is basketball, riding in the Bronco, and playing with your friends. You're primary teachers miss you when you aren't in church and ask when you'll be here next. You are such an important part of our family and you set the path for Aiden to follow. You collect lots of change when you are with your Grandpa Jensen and then you want to spend it really really fast. You like to go HUNTING for Easter Eggs with some ammo from Uncle Allen. You love to collect rocks, and Transformers. I love you so much! We both miss you when you aren't with us! love, daddy & karena

Aiden:
You have been immitating sounds for a while but, now they are making words. You latest words are: "Mama" "Dada" "Daddeeee" "all gone" "hot dog" "uh,oh" "ball" "nana" (banana) "apple" (very clearly too) if you can give kisses instead of saying "please" you do it, you love morning snuggles and are happiest when you see Jayson first in the morning. I think I can say we all love your morning snuggles. We are praying that someday you will be big brother. When you see your baby cousin Ashton you try to hold him and take him from me. Jayson is your best friend when he is here, and you cry the first few days when he isn't here. You love nursery and your friends. You love trains, and leggo blocks right now.
You had tubes put in your ears in March 2010 and then again in December of 2010 but the 2nd set one of the tubes was put in on top of the other so now Dr.Pearson is going to take both sets out and your adnoids. Hopefully, you will be able to hear better, talk better, and be healthier all around. I love it when you smile! Your giggle is irriplaceable and you are such an important part of our family. Love, Mommy & Daddy
I have been pondering how it was before we were here on this earth
and the wars that were fought and all of the mom's, sister, & wives survived and they were
okay when their husbands were away. I think of the pioneers and how they had such hard
trials and they were okay. And the people today who live in other countries who don't
have the freedoms we do today. Just know that Freedom isn't Free...
Our brothers/fathers/son's/daughters/sisters/aunts/uncles/grandparents
are fighting to keep our country safe and to allow us to enjoy the blessings we've had for so long.
I have two of the best brothers I could ask for leaving their wives and their babies in June to serve ALL OF US AMERICANS , I pray for their safety, and for them to know how Thankful I am to them! I came across this poem while going through papers with my mom and wanted to log it in my blog! You might need a tissue or two.....
A Mother's Pride
I'm watching my son
As he's packing today,
he's going to serve his country,
A long time to stay...
My heart is filled with pride
As I look in his face,
I pray from my heart
He's in a safe place...
I want to tell him
That I love him so,
How much I will miss him
As off he does go....
I hope this country knows the sacrifices I make,
As my proudest possession
I allow them to take...
God surround him with Angels
Always staying near,
And help me to be strong
and please remove my fear.

SNOW DAY!

Moments I thought I'd share...

Aiden must put on Daddy's shoes before daddy gets to
is the new rule according to Aiden....

I was lucky to capture this happy expression when he got to sit
on daddy's lap while we waited to meet Jayson for the weekend.

Aiden spotted this empty swing set in Gunnison and
he was extatic to just hope right on. I think I speak
for both of us when I say we are so anxious for Spring to arrive!

patiently waiting....

Aiden sat and waited all morning for Jayson to get there.
I recovered that chair he is sitting in to match the quilt & Pillow case
I made for him. He loves that chair now. He carries it everywhere.
Grandma Alice gave this adorable outfit to Aiden for
Christmas. The jacket is his favorite right now.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Need I say more? I think the boys were both happy with what
they received for Christmas.....And it was wonderful!

FAMILY PICTURES!

Thanks to an amazing sister-n-law we
had an amazing turnout of our boys' pictures
They were both in a great mood!

Keith had worked a grave the night before this picture and Aiden
had crawled up on him and I thought they were watching tv
to my surprise they were both asleep!

Thanksgiving!

THANKSGIVING 2010
We had so much fun! Allen & Teresa (Keith's Brother) hosted Thanksgiving
this year. (I hope they didn't mind that I volunteered them, heheh)
We had so much fun! It was probably the first time that Keith's family had
all been together since our wedding. And, then Teresa's parents and brother joined
us too so there were bunches of kids' for the boys to play with. We certainly
enjoyed ourselves.

Snow, Snow, Snow,

I didn't expect this much tonight. The song "Snow" by Irving Berlin
comes to mind when I look outside. The sight of snow means the Holidays
are approaching us. I love this time of year. It's beautiful!
Heavenly Father has given us such wonderful things to enjoy.
Aiden is noticing what is on the ground outside and he keeps
running to the window. I think this year we will include him in our
trip to play in the snow.
